I use my skills in journalism and documentary film to collaborate on various projects, as well as consult on work that focuses on social issues, sustainability, and community impact. I create multimedia content — written, video, and more — for research and academic institutions, media outlets, and non-profits.
Currently, I’m completing editing of a data-driven, community-engaged documentary film based on the findings of the RESPCCT study, in collaboration with the Birth Place Lab at the University of British Columbia. The project explores the perinatal disparities experienced among marginalized communities and highlights community-informed care models, bridging the gap between academic research, media, and public communication.
Since March 2025, I’ve worked full-time as a reporter for Canada’s National Observer. I previously covered Indigenous stories across regions and now focus on Western cities — including Vancouver, Calgary and Saskatoon — as well as north and central coast communities in British Columbia.
